My stay at Velvet Hotel was a blend of enjoyable and disappointing moments. The location is fantastic for exploring Manchester, especially with Canal Street nearby. However, the noise levels from nearby construction and nightlife made it hard to relax. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the room was clean and stylish, but there were some hiccups with amenities and service.

I was eager to try the restaurant, but was let down by a limited menu and the unavailability of desserts. The food I did order was of good quality, though, and I enjoyed the cocktails in the bar.

The hotel features a cozy bar and room service, but I was disappointed to find some amenities lacking. The bar was closed early during my stay, which was frustrating after a long day.

I had a good stay at Velvet Hotel, which perfectly blended stylish decor with comfort. The location is fantastic for exploring Manchester, right at the center of everything exciting, although it can get a bit noisy at night due to the vibrant nightlife nearby. The complimentary breakfast box was a beautiful touch, ensuring I started my day right. Overall, I found it to be an really good experience with minor areas for improvement.

My stay at Velvet Hotel was a mixed bag. The funky decor and spacious room made for a unique experience, but I encountered several issues that affected my overall enjoyment. While the friendly staff were quite helpful, the various maintenance problems and noise from the bar area left me disappointed.

The staff were friendly and attentive, welcoming me with a complimentary glass of Prosecco upon arrival. They were responsive to my concerns but didn’t follow up after I reported issues, which was disappointing.

I appreciated the breakfast delivery but opted out after my coffee-making experience went awry. The lack of granulated options and off milk deterred me from trying the breakfast available.

I found the room service and housekeeping adequate, but the issues with the coffee machine and lack of toiletries made me feel the facilities could have been better managed.

I just wrapped up a fab weekend at Velvet Hotel for a friend's birthday. The location was awesome, right at the heart of Canal Street, so there was a bit of evening noise, but honestly, it added to the vibe. The staff were super friendly and the decor in our rooms was stylish and quirky, which I loved! However, I did encounter a few hiccups like dusty corners and some noise from outside that interrupted my sleep a bit. Overall, it was a great spot and I'd definitely go back.

This hotel is right next to Canal Street, making it super convenient for nightlife and local attractions. Sure, there was some noise from the bars, but it's part of the lively atmosphere.

The bar and restaurant were great. I enjoyed the food and drinks, although I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast arrangement being just a boxed meal left outside my door.
Facilities

They had some fantastic amenities, including high-quality bathroom products. But a couple of things like having no room slippers or other standard 4-star amenities were missing.
